Ninebarks have a colorful foliage that emerges in mid-spring, lasting well into fall. Clusters of pink or white flowers appear early summer, followed by decorative seed heads. Once the leaves have dropped, the exfoliating bark adds winter interest. They thrive in full sun, to part shade conditions. They will bloom more in full sun.
